Caleb Bailey & Paine’s Run formed in 2021 following the success of Bailey’s debut album Poplar & Pine. Based in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley, the band has quickly earned a reputation for high-energy performances and thoughtful, message-driven bluegrass. Their latest album on Turnberry Records showcases Bailey’s distinctive voice and evolving songwriting, further establishing him as one of the genre’s rising young leaders.

Bluegrass Unlimited Magazine calls Bailey “an authentic vocalist” whose songwriting carries depth beyond his years. He was selected for the 2023 IBMA Songwriter Showcase for his co-write with Tim Stafford of Blue Highway, and his songs have been recorded by East Nash Grass. His debut produced the #1 song “Grim Reaper.”

Beyond performing and writing, Bailey founded the No Bull Just Bluegrass Festival, now entering its second year over July 4 weekend. Caleb Bailey & Paine’s Run represent the next generation of authentic, roots-driven bluegrass.

Caleb Bailey is an authentic vocalist who gets his important messages across with mature and heartfelt song writing and singing. He's got his own style and messages to share, seemingly beyond his years.”

No matter the mood or the melody, Bailey’s efforts allow the sentiment to shine through within this tuneful tapestry. It’s clear from the outset that he’s fully encapsulated the shared emotions of those that are the subjects of his songs. In that regard, there’s not only truth in the title, but due diligence expressed as well. (ALBUM REVIEW - PRIDE OF APPALACHIA on Turnberry Records)” - Lee Zimmerman
